Use Scientific Calculator Online in Google Search and in Alternatives

Although Windows and most recent operating systems comes with a In-Built Scientific Calculator, for persons like me who-hate-to-use-offline-apps-if-found-online, Google have recently launched a Scientific Calculator in its search engine. This news had been spread like an epidemic and most of your must be already know. Still I am writing this because I want to inform you about a problems in Google's new calculator and about some other online alternatives.

Fix: Error 404 at www.blogspot.com/ncr/ when using Custom Domain for Blogger

The Problem

If you have registered a blog in Blogger, you will normally have a blogspot subdomain e.g. yourdomain.blogspot.com. But you can also use custom domain name for blogger like paid TLDs like .com, .net, .info etc or free domains like .tk, .co.cc, .cc.cc etc. Google have given proper instructions about this in a detailed help documentation.

But sometimes, even after following all the instructions properly, you may see the new domain being redirected to a 404 Error page with the address www.blogspot.com/ncr/.

This is very frustrating, right? I will be discussing the reason behind this error and the solution in this post.

New Favicon of Google: Do you like it?

Do you know what is Favicon is? Wikipedia says

A favicon (Short for Favorite icon), also known as a shortcut icon, Web site icon, URL icon, or bookmark icon, is a file containing one or more small icons, most commonly 16×16 pixels, associated with a particular Web site or Web page.

Yes, Favicon is an of the identification of a website. If you bookmark a site, its icon is actually the favicon of the website. Although having a Favicon is not that important, I personally find Favicon a very attractive feature to have in a website. Did you know what the Favicon of Google is? I know, anyone knows that, it is the following.

But can you see that now? If yes, please clear your browser cache and reload Google. You will see a new Favicon of Google.

Google includes Web History into Search Suggestion

Google is the best search engine till date and they are always thriving to make it better and more better. If you have Web History enabled in your Google Account, you must have seen a new feature in Google Search Suggestion that shows your latest Google Search at the Top of other results.

New Relevant Result in Google Search

Google is without doubt the best search engine till date and they haven't finished yet. New features are being cooked every day. The latest feature that caught my eye is that now Google shows relevant information while searching on some topic. I found such relevant information while searching about Wikipedia, Blogger, Atom, Paracetamol etc.

Link Your Blog to Custom Google+ Page in Blogger

Google have added a new feature in Blogger that assists you to link your Blogger blog to the custom Google+ page of your site. Previously Blogger blog used to link with the personal Google+ page of the Blog owner.

Linking Blogger to a Google + Profile or Page has advantage in making a professional touch to your blog. This way the About me page will contain information on the Author or on the Google + page. If properly configured, Google search results will also display images of Google + profile or page.

Google Changes Display of Conversion Queries

Today I found that Google changes the display of conversion queries to a much better and attractive design. Previously for a query like Bit to Byte it showed 1 Bit = 0.125 Byte, but now it shows the category of conversion, available units in that category and desired results e.g. 25 Bit = 3.125 Byte.
