Crop, Resize, Rotate and Add Effects to Images in picresize.com

When I am on a public PC and don't have the USB with my favorite portable tools in it, I depend on online services for sufficing my needs. Today, since my main computer have stopped working, I once again have felt the importance of online services. Editing pictures is one of the common things, geeky people and bloggers like me deal with every time. Today I used an online service called pic resize for cropping and resizing a logo. That service also has options to rotate and add effects to images. It can also resize images in batch.

Features

The service has a clean layout that is easy to follow.

You can upload a single image and then choose to edit it or can also select Quick Resize to set the resizing parameters first.

In Quick Resize mode you will not be able to crop image, so don't select that option if you need to crop. You will also be able to resize, rotate and add effects if you don't select Quick Resize first.

It supports Batch Resizing and changing image formats. Supported output image formats are JPG, PNG, BMP and GIF.

The edited image can be previewed, saved to your computer, exported to dr. pic for advanced editing, saved to web.

The service has a auto-clean feature which cleans up uploaded and edited picture after 20 minutes. But as just mentioned, you can save that picture to the website by entering your email address. You will immediately receive a mail from noreply@my.picresize.com with the instruction to manage your saved image. By going to that link, you will be asked to approve the image and will get options to delete or share the image.

My Verdict

I like the service for its fast processing and ease of use. It do not require an email address for downloading the edited image. The Save to Web feature is just excellent.
